Ironically i was just preparing this as my next post when i logged onto my dashboard.. I bought this book a few months back. It’s beautiful, and unsettling and peaceful and dreamy and filmic all at the same time.

Adam Jeppesen Wake (Steidl, 2008)
Wake is an elegant collection of melancholic vignettes created over seven years by filmmaker Jeppesen. The images are rich in texture and patiently explore the haunting twilight world of the artists travels around the globe. The work delicately captures details of ambiguous moments and locations, but builds with a palpable cinematic tension. A wonderful and intimate title based on Jeppesen’s original artist book.
